Assam CEE 2015- Exclusive Entrance Test for Admission in the Dibrugarh University, Assam

Assam Common Entrance Examination 2015 will be administered and conducted by Dibrugarh University on the behalf of Directorate of Technical Education, Assam. The common entrance examination will be held to seek admission for the B.E/ B.Tech and MBBS and BDS course in the engineering and medical colleges situated in the state. The test will be based on the current.

NCERT syllabus for class 11 and 12th as adopted by the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council.
The official notification for Assam CEE 2015 will be released by the end of March and the online registration process will commence during 1st week of April, 2015.

Eligibility criteria

Following are the minimum eligibility condition which is essential to be met by the aspirants to compete in Assam CEE 2015.

i. Nationality:  The aspirant should be of Indian Nationality or a Person of Indian Origin.
ii. Minimum Educational Qualification:  She/he should have obtained at least 50% aggregate marks in the 10+2 final examination or any other qualifying examination. Minimum prescribed marks for reserved SC,ST category candidates  is 45% .
iii.Candidates must have passed the Qualifying examination Chemistry,Physics, Maths/Biology and English.
iv. Age Limit: Minimum prescribed age of a candidate is 17 years and maximum prescribed age limit is  21 years. Relaxation of upper age limit will be applicable to candidates from the reserved category  as per terms of Directorate of Technical Education.

Application Procedure -

The application procedure of Assam CEE 2015 will be entirely online-based. Follow the below instructions to fill the online application form.

i.Fore mostly, visit the official website of  DIBRUGARH UNIVERSITY through the following - 
ii.Download and read the information brochure carefully before applying
iii.Click on the appropriate link to avail the online application form
iv.Fill the particulars in the blank fields in the application form
v.Then, upload the scanned image of photograph and signature
vi.Submit the application form after filling all the required details
vii.A Challan will be auto-generated after submission of the application
viii.You are supposed to print the Challan for payment of the application fee. Fee is payable at any of the branches of State Bank of India right from from the second working day of online submission of the application form by the candidate.

Scheme of Assam CEE

i.Assam CEE 2015 will thoroughly be an objective based entrance examination
ii.Questions asked in the exam will have multiple options out of which you are expected to choose the right answer and marks the corresponding option in the OMR answer sheet.
iii.Duration of the entrance test will be 2 hours
iv.Sections in the exam-Math, Physics and Chemistry
v.Number of question per section- 100 which implies Total number of questions - 100*3 = 300
vi.No imposition of penalty for wrong or multiple answers marked
vii.Each correct answer marks will fetch one mark.

SNAP 2014 Scorecard to be released on 10 January 2015

SNAP Test - (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) was held on 21 December 2014 to seek candidates for admission in the management programmes offered by the member institutes of Symbiosis International University (SIU). Candidates are eagerly waiting for the results to be announced. Symbiosis University has announced to release the SNAP 2014 Scorecard on 10 January , 2015 for the SNAP Test.  The Scorecard will be available for the candidates on the official website. SNAP Scorecard will be valid for admission to the MBA programmes for the academic session 2015-16. No personal intimation will be sent to the candidates regarding the release of the scorecard nor it will be sent personally to the candidates. So, it is suggested that you must visit the university’s website, only to download the scorecard. It is informed that the scorecard will remain available for the period of one month i.e. up to 11 February , 2015. Scorecard will disclose the marks scored by the entrants in written exam but final admission will be offered only to those candidates who will qualify the minimum cutoff marks and all the remaining selection rounds.

Candidates must make sure that all the details mentioned above are stated in their scorecard as well when the same is released.

After the release of the SNAP 2014 Scorecard, University will publish the SNAP cutoff i.e. Minimum qualifying marks that must achieved by the candidate in order to get shortlisted for further selection rounds. Any candidate who would not be able to score marks as much as the cutoff will be disqualified automatically. While, all those who would be lucky enough to qualify the cutoff will be eligible to attend - Group Discussion and Personal Interview round. 

The responses/performance of the candidates will be judged in both these rounds and hence will be awarded the scores. 

Collective scores of the candidates in the written test,Group Discussion and Personal Interview will be the basis for the final admissions.

Procedure of VITEEE 2015 Slot Booking

VITEEE stands for Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination, conducted by Vellore Institute of Technology University on yearly basis. It is conducted all over the country and outside as well. The candidates those who qualify the exam will get a chance to take admission in various engineering courses offered by VIT campuses in Chennai and Vellore.

SNAP 2014 Cutoff, Scorecard

SNAP 2014 Cutoff will be Issued on 10 January 2015

Importance of management in professional and personal life had been realized long before. Earlier, it was believe that a person is managed by nature but through research and study, it was realized that management can be learned. To receive admission in SIU, aspirant will have to qualify SNAP. Symbiosis National Aptitude Test also referred to as SNAP (Yes, the P in it does not stand for anything, or even if does than University had not disclosed it). It is an All India Level exam and is conducted in 30 cities around the nation. This year, it was conducted on 21 December 2014, by those who fulfilled the eligibility criteria for it and submitted application form before 26 November 2014.

Entrants were given 120 minutes to solve 4 sections of Analytical Logical Reasoning, General English, Quantitative Ability and General Awareness. In all, exam was for 180 marks but provision of negative marking, of 1/4  mark, was implemented for marking wrong answer. 

Now, all the formalities regarding exam has been concluded and now entrants are eagerly waiting for their result. 10 January 2015, is the official date for declaring result, which will be hosted online, in the official website. Along result, SNAP 2014 cutoff will also be issued. It will be issued separately by each participating Institute and will be hosted it in the official website. Result will, only, states the marks scored by the entrants in written exam but admission will be given by comparing marks scored by determined cutoff. 

SNAP 2015 cutoff, is the minimum marks required to qualify the exam. Candidates who will secure less marks than that, will be disqualified form admission procedure. SSC CGL 2014 cutoff for Tier I of the CGL Exam

The Staff Selection Commission conducts the Combined Graduate Level Examination for recruitment to various Central Civil posts such as Divisional Accountant, Junior Accountant, Auditor, UDC, Statistical Officer,Tax Assistant etc. Recruits will be posted in various Ministries/Departments and organizations of the Central Government, including the Central Vigilance Commission, Ministry of Defence,Intelligence Bureau,Ministry of Railways, Central Bureau of Investigation, Ministry of External Affairs etc. The SSC CGL 2014 Exam is conducted in three stages. Tier I and Tier II are written examinations of objective multiple choice type. The third tier of the SSC CGL Exam may either be a Personality Test, Computer Proficiency Test, Skill Test or Interview.

Tier I of the Combined Graduate Level Examination 2014 was conducted on 19 October 2014 and 26 October 2014. The exam consisted of four sections viz., General Awareness, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension. The Staff Selection Commission will publish the SSC CGL 2014 Result, Cutoff  in due course of time. SSC publishes the cutoff list to delimit candidates for Tier II of the SSC CGL 2014 Exam. Candidates will have to meet the SSC CGL 2014 Cutoff  in order be allowed to sit for Tier II of the examination. Tier II of the Combined Graduate Level Examination will also be an objective type test. Tier II will consist of three papers viz., Quantitative Ability, English Language and Comprehension and Statistics. The first two papers are compulsory for all categories of posts, while Paper III will have to be attempted by candidates applying for specific posts such as Statistical Investigator and Compiler.
The SSC CGL 2014 Exam was described as extremely tough by most candidates. Aspirants are therefore hopeful of a lower cutoff percentage this year.However, while the level of difficulty of the exam will be an important factor in determining the SSC CGL 2014 Cutoff, various other factors like the number of applicants who appeared for the exam, the cutoff scores of the previous years' and the overall performance of candidates in the SSC CGL 2014 Exam will also influence the cutoff. An estimation of the SSC CGL 2014 Cutoff has been formulated on the basis of the previous years cutoff scores. The expected cutoff scores are as follows:
  • General Category - 96 to 102
  • OBC Category - 86 to 90
  • SC Category - 74 to 78
  • ST Category - 70 to 72

NMAT 2015 Result, Scorecard

The final NMAT 2015 Result is expected to be declared on 22 January 2015. NMAT or the NMIMS Management Aptitude Test is the official entrance exam of the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies conducted for admissions to its School of Business Management. The Institute offers admissions to a range of MBA programmes in both general management and specialised management programmes in Finance, Information Systems,Marketing, Operations and Decision Sciences, Human Resource and Pharmaceutical Management etc. Admissions to all the management programmes are done through NMAT.

The aptitude test is conducted within a time frame of three months every year, so as to allow candidates a choice of two retakes incase they are not satisfied with their performance in the first attempt. The aptitude test commenced on 7 October 2014 this year. The last session of NMAT 2015 is slotted to be conducted on 20 December 2014.The NMAT 2015 Result for the initial three test slots have already been declared. Candidates will have to visit the official website of NMIMS, in order to view their results. Candidates can access their results by providing their NMAT ID and Date of Birth. Candidates will be able to view their sectional and overall scores. The percentile scores of candidates will however be declared only in January 2015. The percentile scores will help candidates make an assessment of how they have performed in NMAT 2015 in comparison to other candidates who appeared for the exam.

 After the final NMAT 2015 Result have been declared in January 2015, the list of shortlisted candidates will be published. For candidates who appeared for a retake of NMAT 2015, the best of the three scores will be taken into consideration for the final shortlistings. Candidates who are shortlisted will be eligible to participate in further rounds of the selection process, which may include Case Discussion and Personal Interview Rounds. The Institute will draft the final merit list on the basis of the candidate's performance in the Case Discussion and Personal Interview.

The NMAT 2015 Entrance Exam consisted of three sections which included Language Skills, Quantitative Skills and Logical Reasoning. Examinees had to attempt a total of 120 questions within a duration of two hours. The questions were all of objective type. It is important for candidates to do well in all the three sections of the aptitude test, as the NMAT 2015 Result will reflect not just the overall scores of the candidates, but the sectional scores as well. CDS 2015 Admit Card to be Issued Soon

Two major exam, conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), for recruitment of candidates into Indian Navy, Army and Air Force are National Defence Academy Exam (NDA) and Combine Defence Services Exam (CDS).  For NDA exam, candidate must be 10+2 qualified from a recognized board, with Physics and Mathematics as core subjects. IBSAT 2015 Cutoff, Scorecard

ICFAI Foundation of Higher Education will announce the IBSAT 2015 Cutoff in January,2015 for the IBSAT 2015 Exam scheduled to be held from 10th December to 31st December,2014.  IBSAT Exam is a national level online aptitude test conducted by ICFAI to seek candidates for admission to  two-years, full-time Management Programs offered at the IBS campuses located at 9 locations in the country i.e. Hyderabad, Bangalore, Gurgaon, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Dehradun, Kolkata, Jaipur and Pune.

IBSAT 2015 Cutoff is referred to the criteria of the minimum qualifying marks, which candidates should meet to qualify the written test. The cut-off is employed to delimit the number of candidates, hence to consider only the most deserving candidates for further process. The authority of  deciding  the cut-off marks lies with ICFAI only.

Candidates will get to know the scores obtained by them in IBSAT 2015 through the official website on 19th January, 2015.   Few days after the announcement of scores, ICFAI will release the cut off  on its official website by the end of January,2015. The candidates who fail to obtain marks as much as the IBSAT 2015 Cutoff  will be disqualified from the selection process.

What is the CAT 2014 Cutoff

Common Admission Test, commonly known as CAT is an online test conducted every year to select the candidates for business administrative programs. Candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in quantitative and verbal ability, data interpretation, reasoning, etc. Indian Institutes of Management has started this exam. Candidates who were appeared for CAT 2014 must score marks atleast equal to CAT 2014 Cutoff otherwise they will not be able to carry forward for other procedures. CAT 2014 Cutoff:
