SBI is an Indian Multinational bank, which is owned by government with its headquarters in Mumbai. It is one of the four biggest banks of the country. It also provides various opportunity for the candidates those who are interested for making their career in banking. It conducts exam yearly for recruitment to various posts. Age:
The candidates those who want to apply for SBI PO exam must have completed 21 years of age and must not be more than 30 years. In other words the date of birth must not be after 2 April 1985 and later than 1 April 1994. However the board has provided some relaxation for the candidates of reserved categories.
Age relaxation details for SBI PO 2015 Eligibility Criteria are as follows:
The candidates of OBC category have been provided relaxation of 3 years in maximum age. The candidates of SC/ST category, ex servicemen including Short Service Commissioned Officers/ Emergency Commissioned Officers those who have provided 5 years of military service and have been released on assignment completion are provided relaxation of 5 years in maximum age. Candidates those who are domicile of Kashmir between 1 January 1981 and 3 December 1990 are also provided relaxation of 5 years in maximum age.
Nationality:
Only Indian national candidates are eligible for the exam. Candidates from any other country cannot appear in the exam.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have completed their graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. As per the SBI PO 2015 Eligibility Criteria the candidates those who are in the final year of their graduation are also eligible for the exam, provided that they submit the passing certificate or mark sheet at the time of interview.
The candidates those who fulfills all the above conditions are eligible for the exam and can submit their application before the last date. Other details for the exam can be read on the website of SBI.
