Union Public Service Commission will conduct the NDA 2015 Exam on 19 April 2015 to seek young,unmarried and energetic candidates for admission in
the 135th Course of Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the National Defence Academy and for the 97th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC). All the registered candidates should appear in the exam as per the schedule and venue to be specified in their Hall Ticket which shall be released soon. However, those aspirants who have not yet registered themselves can do so only up to 23 January 2015.
After the announcement of the result for the NDA 2015 Exam, the commission will release the NDA 2015 Cutoff on its official website. Those candidates who have no idea about what the word “Cutoff” means should read further to know about it. So, Cutoff implies the minimum qualifying score which is mandatory to be achieved by the candidates in any examination in order to qualify it. Same thing applies here as well in the sense that to qualify NDA 2015 Exam, it is extremely essential that every candidate must clear the NDA Cutoff 2015 so as to get shortlisted in the further round of selection which would be comprised of Physical Efficiency Test/ Physical Fitness Test and Personal Interview. It is worth noting that there would be sectional cutoff in NDA 2015 Exam, UPSC will specify a certain benchmark percentage of marks for each of the subject and candidates will have to score that minimum percentage of marks in all the subjects as well as qualify the overall cutoff out of the total marks which is 900. Marking Scheme - NDA is entirely an objective based examination with multiple choice questions. Check more details below regarding the number of sections and the marking scheme-
1. Mathematics - 300 Marks
2. General Ability Test - 600 Marks
Total Marks - - 900
3. SSB Test/Interview - 900 Marks
As mentioned above, candidates will have to appear in both the Mathematics and General Ability Test comprising of 300 and 600 marks respectively which totals to 900 marks. So, candidates who will clear the NDA Cutoff 2015 to be weighed out of 900 marks will be qualified to appear in SSB Interview to be conducted by Service Selection Board(SSB) for a span of five days at the designated venue.
