The Union Public Service Commission will release the IES 2015 Application Form on 14 March 2015. Interested candidates are required to complete registration online through the official website of UPSC. The Commission will not issue hard copies/printed applications. Candidates are advised to keep all the essential documents such as their academic certificates, caste/class certificate/Disability certificate and scanned images of their photograph and signature ready with them, before they start filling up the online application form.
After candidates have logged on to the UPSC website and clicked on the 'Fill Application' option, a page will appear which will have different sections which the candidate has to fill up to complete submission of the online application form.
Once all the details have been filled in, applicants should make sure that they save the information that they have entered by clicking on the 'Submit' button.
Applicants can then proceed to upload images of their photograph and signature. The scanned images should be uploaded in the prescribed format.
After candidates have uploaded the scanned images, they should choose their mode of payment. The Commission has made both online and offline payment options available to candidates. However, the application fee will have to be paid only by applicants from the General and OBC categories. The amount to be paid as application fee is Rs.200.Women applicants and applicants from the SC/ST category are exempted from payment of this fee.
After successful submission of the online application form containing all the relevant details, a unique online application registration id and password will be generated for the candidate. Candidates should note down this Online Application Registration Number, as a proof of submission of the online application form.
