IES/ISS stands for Indian Economic / Statistical Services Exam, conducted by UPSC. It is one of the most reputed exam of the country and therefore huge number of candidates apply for it. On the basis of UPSC recommendation as per the performance of candidates, selection will be done. For selecting candidates, UPSC conducts a four stage competitive exam. If candidates are eligible for the exam and want to appear for the exam then they can fill the application form for the same. Candidates will have to visit the website of UPSC to apply online. Candidates will have to fill both the parts of the application form. After completing part I of the form candidates will have to fill the application fees. They will have to pay 200/- in one of the branch of SBI. It can also be done via net banking, credit or debit card. A registration number will be issued to the candidates those who successfully register themselves.
The selection of candidates in the exam will depend on their performance in exam and interview. The candidates those who qualify the exam will be called for the interview process. Their selection will be equally dependent on performance in exam and interview as well therefore they must perform well in each and every aspect of exam.
