RBI Officers Grade B 2015 Recruitment

Qualifications

1.Age
For candidates possessing M.Phil. and Ph.D. qualification, upper age limit will be 31 and 33 years respectively. For candidates having experience as an officer in Commercial Bank/Financial Institution in Public Sector as also earlier expertise in Reserve Bank of India, upper age limit is relaxed to the extent of number of years of such expertise subject to no more than three years. For such nominees, upper age limit should not exceed 33 years including expertise. For experience, probationary period won't be reckoned.

Liberalization of upper age limit

-- Three years in the case of OBC candidates if the places are allowed for them.
-- Five years in the case of: i) SC/ST candidates if the places are reserved for them ii) Ex-workers of banking associations whose services had to be terminated for reasons of economy or as an effect of bank going into liquidation and staff retrenched from Government Offices after a minumum of one year's service and now filed with Employment Exchange, iii) Ex-servicemen (including Emergency Commissioned Officers/Short Service Commissioned Officers) provided applicants have left at least five years constant Military Service and have been released on completion of assignment (including those whose duty is due to be completed within one year) Crisis Commissioned Officers/Short Service Commissioned Officers who have completed their first period of duty of five years of Military Service but whose duty has been extended beyond five years and in whose case the Ministry of Defence issues certifications that they would be released on choice within three months from the date of receipt of offer of appointment, v)
-- For eligible staff nominees (attribute para 4 above for eligibility) the relaxation in age limit is according to RBI circular CO. HRMD.

NOTE: Cumulative Age Easiness will not be accessible under the above mentioned items or in combination with any other items.


2.Educational Qualifications


2 Some Universities/Institutes don't award Class or percentage of marks and allot Aggregate Grade Points (e.g. CGPA/OGPA/CPI, etc.). In case University/Institute defines standards for conversion of Aggregate Grade Point into Course and percentage of marks, the exact same will be taken. However, where the University/ Institute will not define criteria for conversion of Aggregate Grade Point into Course and/or percentage of marks, or not saying course in the degree certificates.

3 Aggregate Grade Point or percent of marks where given would mean aggregate over the whole duration of the class.

4Where the Aggregate Grade Point (CGPA/OGPA/CPI, etc.) is awarded out of a number other than 10, it will be normalized out of 10 and computed as per item (2) previously.

1 Nominees fulfilling the conditions of eligibility as on June1, 2014 are first required to go to the URL "Recruitment to the place of Officers in Gr "B" (General) - DR' on Bank's site www.rbi.org.in">>ABOUT US">> OPPORTUNITIES AT RBI">>CURRENT VACANCIES">> VACANCIES and click the hyperlink "Applications (Apps)" in the Ad page for filling the On line Application. It redirects the candidates to the on-line registration page.
2 Nominees will have to enter their basic details and upload the photo and signature in the on-line application form as per the specifications given in item 10 of the ad.
3 Nominees should fill in the details in the On-Line Application in the appropriate positions quite carefully and click the "SUBMIT" button at the conclusion of the On-Line Application form. Before pressing the "SUBMIT" button, candidates are advised to verify every field filled in the application. The name of the candidate or his or her dad/husband etc. should be spelt right in the application as it appears in the certificate/mark sheets. Any shift/alteration found may disqualify the candidature. During the time of exam that is online, the okay identity evidence should also bear exactly the same name. Board WOn't entertain any request for change of any information furnished in On-line application. A Provisional Registration/Reception Number as well as Password will be created by the system and displayed on the display. Candidate should note down the Registration Number and Password. A E-Mail & SMS signaling Password and the Provisional Registration number will also be sent.

4 In the event of the candidate being unable to fill the data in a single go, he/she can save the data. Provisional Registration number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the monitor when the data is saved. Candidates should note down the Provisional Registration number and Password. Email & SMS signaling the Provisional Registration number and Password will be sent. The saved data using Provisional Registration number and Password can be reopened by candidates and edit the particulars, if needed. This facility will soon be available for three times only. Candidate should submit the data and pay fees, once the application is completely filled /intimation charges to finish the enrollment procedure.

Application Process for RBI Officer 2015 Recruitment likely to commence in June 2015

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) will be conducting the RBI Officer 2015 examination for recruiting eligible candidates as officers in Grade “B” posts (General). All the candidates interested in applying for RBI Officer 2015 Recruitment will be required to get themselves registered online on the official RBI web portal. The online application procedure is likely to commence from 1st week of June 2015. The candidates before applying must ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility criteria as laid down by RBI, failing to which their application will be rejected at later stage (verification stage).

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate applying for RBI Officer 2015 must be an Indian citizen whose age must lie in between the bracket of 21 to 30 years, though relaxation in upper age will be permitted for certain reserved categories by RBI. Also, such candidate must possess a graduation or post graduation degree in any discipline with 60% & 55% aggregate marks respectively (or equivalent CGPA).

Date of the RBI Officer 2015 Recruitment examination

The phase 1 of the examination is likely to be held in the 1st week of August 2015 while the phase 2 examination will be held in September/October 2015.

Exam pattern and Selection Procedure

The examination will be held in both online and offline mode. It will be held in 2 phases and thereafter personal interviews will be conducted. In the phase 1, multiple choice questions will be asked from Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, Logical Reasoning and English. On the basis of the appearing candidates performance in this examination, a cutoff list will be prepared at this stage and the candidates who will score marks according to the cutoff list thus issued will be considered eligible for the phase 2 examination.

Thereafter phase 2 examination will be conducted. It will also have multiple choice questions based on English, Economic & Social Issues and Finance & Management. Again a cutoff list will be prepared at this stage and all the candidates who will clear this phase 2 examination will be called upon for personal interview held by RBI. For being eligible to be called for personal interview, candidates will be required to score more marks as listed in the cut off list issued at phase 2 stage.

After successful conduction of Personal Interviews by RBI, a final list of the candidates will be prepared upon the overall performance of the candidate at every stage of the selection procedure and such candidates will be further considered for RBI Officer 2015 Recruitment.
